Why We Created the Good People Scholarship

The Good People Scholarship was created to recognize students who reflect those same values. Not just academic achievement, but character. Effort. Community involvement. The kind of qualities that don’t always show up on a report card, but matter just as much.
What the Scholarship Includes
The Good People Scholarship awards $2,500 to a student preparing to take their next step into higher education.
This is a one-time award designed to help offset the cost of college, university, or vocational school.
It’s our way of saying:
We see you. Keep going.
Who Is Eligible
This scholarship is open to students who are:

A dependent of a 3 Men Movers contractor or office staff member

A high school senior preparing to attend college, university, or trade school

A Texas resident
Applicants should also demonstrate:

Strong academic performance (A/B average)

A commitment to giving back, with at least 20 hours of volunteer work

Active involvement in school, work, or community activities
This isn’t just about grades. It’s about the full picture of who someone is becoming.
What We’re Looking For
At the heart of the application is a simple idea:

Students will be asked to reflect on:

How the Selection Process Works
We’ve built the process to be thoughtful and fair:

We offer up to $3,000 in tuition reimbursement for eligible full-time employees who have been with us for at least one year.

Our CEO, Jacky Fischer, didn’t take a traditional path. After earning her undergraduate degree in art, she later returned to school to pursue her MBA while continuing to grow the business.
