In fact, we include this value in our "Movifesto"– which is what we call our promise to our customers. Part Three of our Movifesto is "We go beyond." Here’s what that looks like in practice.

OUR INSURANCE EXCEEDS MINIMUM PAYOUTS

Insurance is essential when you move, because you never know when an expensive or fragile item will break. But the reality is that there’s no guarantee you’ll get top dollar for your broken belonging since the state requires movers to pay out only $0.60 per pound per item.

If you don’t think that would be enough to cover repairs or replacement for that nice big-screen TV when the screen cracks, hire a moving company that goes above and beyond to ensure customers get what is fair. That would be us, by the way! At 3 Men Movers, our insurance exceeds state requirements, and we assess claims case by case. That means that when we mess up, we pay what’s fair. Our damage claim rate is less than 2 percent, but we get it – it’s still nice to have some peace of mind when you’re leaving all your earthly possessions in our care for a few hours.

WE OFFER FAST REPAIRS WHEN NEEDED

On the off chance something breaks during your move, don’t worry; we’re on it! We respond to all claims within 48 hours so you don’t have to go longer than a weekend worrying about how soon your broken bookshelf is going to get fixed.

Plus, we’ve got a repairman on staff, and we’ll be glad to dispatch him soon after we receive your call to make your damage claim. This little bonus translates to faster fixes since we don’t have to contract the repairs out to another company like the average mover might. The fewer people you have to play phone tag with — and explain the problem to over and over — the better!

It’s always nice to know we’ve got your back when things go wrong during the move. But our belief that "We go beyond" extends to everyday matters, not just damaged items.
