If your building requires proof of insurance before allowing a move, request your Certificate of Insurance directly from the link in your Reservation Summary email - we're the only company who auto sends ours COI. We've operated in Texas since 1985, so you're working with a company that has a long track record here.
When moving into a commercial building or high rise, you may be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to the property manager. This certificate is provided by our insurer to confirm that we have the standard levels of coverage required and the building is protected. Many home service companies like movers, contractors and repair companies are required to provide this upon request. It is a very easy way to know you are dealing with a reputable company.

Yes. We can move you anywhere in the US. For moves to neighboring states - Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico - our rates are competitive and the process is the same as a local move. For longer cross-country moves, we'll be upfront: a national carrier may save you money, and we'll tell you that. If you want 3MM handling your move regardless, call us for a custom proposal. All trucks come with standard moving ramps. If you need a liftgate, be sure to request it when you book so we can see what we have available.
You can buy boxes from our office locations, the movers do not have them on the truck so you don't miss out on valuable space for your items. If you want to make it easy, order our packing service and they will bring all the boxes you will need.
Our crews do have EZ pass tags to use when needed, so you can get to where you are going quickly! No extra fees for toll roads – we cover the cost for you!
For speed and efficiency for both the packers and movers, we typically have packers come in the day before the move out and if hiring unpackers, the day after the move. Moving is chaotic enough without adding more people in potentially tight spaces.
We get it, sometimes there is a delay in getting into your new place. The carpet isn't dry, the old owners haven't left yet, closing gets delayed. If an overnight hold is necessary, there is an extra fee. Please call the office for details. If you need to store things for more than one night, let us know as we also have storage options available.
Our standard truck is a 24' long box truck and can move an average 1,800 foot home. Standard truck comes with 3 crew members. We also have a Super Size truck that is 48' long and can hold an average 3,500 foot home. The Super Size truck comes with 4 crew members to help you get through a larger job quicker.
Fewer than 2% of 3 Men Movers moves result in any damage claim. That's well below industry averages, and it's not an accident. Our crews wrap furniture, protect floors, and load trucks specifically to prevent damage from the start.
When something does happen, here's what to expect: one point of contact, a simple online form, and a real resolution. Texas state regulation requires damage claims be submitted in writing, so we send you a form to complete and file. No guessing, no runaround.
Most claims are resolved within 7 days. We focus on repairing damage first, not defaulting to depreciated valuations or complicated insurance tiers. If we caused it, we take responsibility.
We don't sell padded valuation coverage as a revenue stream. We don't charge you extra to be treated fairly. Our standard rate includes our standard of care.
If at any point you feel we haven't held up our end, TxDOT offers free consumer mediation at (800) 299-1700. We publish that number because we're confident it rarely needs to be used.
Moving mid-week - Monday through Thursday - saves you up to $20/hour compared to weekend rates. On a larger home move, that's a real $80-$120 in savings. Due to liability issues and space constraints, we ask that you follow the guys in their truck, or lead the way in your personal vehicle
Our guys carry a wide variety of safety and protective equipment on the trucks. This includes furniture blankets, runners, shrink wrap. Our guys take great care to make sure furniture is wrapped, floors are protected, and boxes are stacked correctly in the truck to prevent shifting and reducing the likelihood of damages.

Our professional packing crews come to your home equipped with all the boxes, tape, and protective materials needed. Packers typically come the day before your move; unpackers come the day after. If we packed you, we'll take the empty boxes with us. You can add packing services when booking online or call a move expert to discuss the right level of help for your home.
We offer perhaps the most convenient portable storage option in Texas! For a flat rate, our guys will come and load your stuff into a portable storage moving container, transport it to our secure, climate controlled facilities in Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Call a move expert for details.
We can handle multiple stops, we just ask that you give us a heads up at the time of booking so that we can factor for it in the quote and notate for our crews. Best way to do this is by booking over the phone with a move expert.
