Trained Specifically for Fragile and High-Value Items

Austin homes are full of things worth protecting - artwork, wine collections, custom furniture. Our packing crews train specifically for high-value and fragile items, not general moving labor reassigned to a packing job.

40+ Years. Same Name. Same Family.

40+ Years. Same Name. Same Family.

Founded in Houston in 1985 by John Fischer, still led by the same Fischer family today. While other companies come and go, we've been earning Austin's trust under the same name for over four decades.

Pay Only for Materials You Actually Use

Pay Only for Materials You Actually Use

Austin customers aren't charged a flat materials fee or a pre-move estimate. Supplies are itemized and billed after the job based on actual usage - small boxes $2.22, wardrobe boxes $12.30, wardrobe bar $1.76 if needed, dish packs $6.15. Nothing rounded up, nothing assumed.

No-Fee Rescheduling

Closing dates shift. Lease timelines change. Cancel or reschedule before your crew dispatches and your $25 deposit comes back in full - provided you give at least 24 hours notice. No penalties, no exceptions.

Packers Arrive the Day Before. Unpackers the Day After.

Packers Arrive the Day Before. Unpackers the Day After.

The packing crew comes the day before your move, unpackers arrive the day after. In Austin's fast-moving rental market, keeping move day clean and focused on transport - not last-minute boxing - makes a real operational difference.

Every Truck Passes a 60-Point Inspection Before Dispatch

Every Truck Passes a 60-Point Inspection Before Dispatch

Before any truck leaves for an Austin job, it clears 60 checkpoints covering documents, roadside safety, and equipment. Critical safety failures result in immediate removal from service.

More Questions

Austin labor rates run slightly higher than other Texas markets. Packing crews are billed at the same hourly rate as a standard move: $219 on Tuesday and Wednesday, $229 on Monday and Thursday, and $249 Friday through Sunday. Materials are tracked and billed separately at the end based on actual usage - current pricing: small boxes $2.22, dish packs $6.15, wardrobe boxes $12.30. You never pay for supplies the crew didn't open. Total cost scales with home size, room count, and the volume of fragile or specialty items.

The crew arrives with all materials and handles the full process: wrapping, boxing, and securing everything from everyday kitchenware to high-value fragile items like fine china, glassware, mirrors, and delicate décor.

A few firm boundaries apply regardless of service type. Crews will not pack cash, jewelry, firearms, ammunition, hazardous chemicals, or open bottles of alcohol - those travel with you. Dresser drawers and filing cabinets need to be empty before the crew starts.

Packers come the day before your move. If you've booked unpacking, that crew arrives the day after. The logic is straightforward: splitting the work across three days means move day itself stays clean and fast - the truck gets loaded without your home being mid-chaos at the same time. For fragile and high-value items especially, that extra time makes a real difference in how carefully things get done.

Packing crews train specifically for fragile and high-value work - china, glassware, mirrors, artwork, delicate décor. Before a single box is taped shut, the Crew Leader runs a digital Inspection and Item Release walkthrough on iPad, photographing the condition of items and logging anything being handled under special terms, like a TV being wrapped rather than boxed. That timestamped photo record exists before anything is moved, and it's the primary reference point if a dispute comes up later. Flag anything of exceptional value at booking so the crew arrives prepared with the right materials.

Yes - someone 18 or older needs to be present from start to finish to sign the crew in and out. You don't have to hover over every box, but you need to be available throughout. The Crew Leader - in a Red 3 Men Movers shirt - will walk the home with you at the start to confirm priorities and note any exclusions. Helpers wear Navy Blue. All crew members are background-checked professionals, and you can review bios, ratings, and real customer reviews before confirming your booking.

Partial packing is a common choice in Austin, particularly for customers who want crew time focused on the kitchen, fragile rooms, or items they don't trust to pack themselves. You handle the rest. During booking, your Move Expert will ask about room count, special items, and fragile inventory to make sure the crew arrives with the right materials and a realistic time block. Labor and materials are billed only on what's actually used.

Cancellations are $0 for standard bookings, provided you cancel before dispatch. The $25 collected at booking is part of your $99 Travel Fee, applied to your final bill, and fully refundable with at least 24 hours notice before the crew leaves. Cancel after they're already on the road and the Travel Fee applies as a No-Show charge. Same-day packing bookings are non-refundable from the moment of booking. Packing slots tied to a specific move date are especially time-sensitive - if you need to reschedule, contact your Move Expert as early as possible.
