San Antonio follows the same rate structure as Houston. A standard 3-man crew runs $199 per hour on Tuesday and Wednesday, $209 on Monday and Thursday, and $229 Friday through Sunday. Every booking includes a flat $99 Travel Fee, with $25 collected at the time of booking and applied to your total. No extra charges for stairs, long carries, or anything heavy. Your quote is your price, period.
There aren't any. The pricing model is straightforward: one flat Travel Fee plus an hourly crew rate. Nothing extra for difficult conditions, tight hallways, or multi-floor buildings. If packing materials are used, they're itemized after the move based on actual consumption - you're not pre-charged a flat supply fee. Every call is recorded, so any price or promise on the phone is backed by a record.
Claims are rare - roughly 2% across approximately 35,000 moves per year. The reason that number stays low starts before the job begins: every crew runs a digital walkthrough using an iPad, documenting pre-existing damage with photos on an Inspection and Item Release form before loading starts. If something does happen, file via the online claim form immediately. You'll hear back from the Customer Experience team within 48 hours. The $0.60 per pound per item figure is a Texas statutory disclosure requirement, not how claims are actually settled - each case is reviewed individually.
The booking process is built around answering that question before move day. You can view bios, photos, star ratings, and real reviews for your assigned crew before confirming. All movers are background-checked - not day-labor pulled from a general pool. When they arrive, Crew Leaders are in Red 3 Men Movers shirts and Helpers wear Navy Blue, so the chain of command is visible from the moment they pull up. Recommended crew leaders in the booking flow are Perfect Move Certified.
Cancellations are free for standard bookings - $0, no exceptions - as long as you cancel before the crew dispatches. The $25 deposit is a portion of your Travel Fee, applied to the final bill, and refunded in full with at least 24 hours notice. If the crew is already on the way when you call to cancel, the Travel Fee is retained as a No-Show charge. Same-day moves require the full Travel Fee upfront at booking, non-refundable.
Booking is available online around the clock, with quotes valid for 30 days. For moves near the first or last of the month - especially on weekends - availability tightens quickly. Booking a few weeks out gives you the best crew selection. Same-day service is offered when crews are available, but the full Travel Fee must be paid at the time of booking, no exceptions. COI requests for apartment complexes or HOAs need at least 24-48 hours lead time.
3 Men Movers has operated continuously under the same name and Fischer family ownership since 1985 - that's over 40 years of consistent presence in Texas, which is unusual in an industry where companies frequently rebrand to escape negative reputations. The company is licensed under USDOT No. 1914113 and TxDMV No. 000534796B, woman-owned, and certified as a Great Place to Work. In San Antonio, the Google rating sits at 4.8 stars across 917+ reviews, and the company has been named Best Movers by the San Antonio Current three consecutive years: 2023, 2024, and 2025.
