No strangers. Before you book, see your crew's photo, years of experience, total moves completed, on-time rate, and real customer reviews. You know exactly who's coming before they knock.
The only Austin moving company with 100% online booking. Review crews, lock in your date, and confirm your move with just a $25 deposit - no phone call required.
Founded in Houston in 1985 by John Fischer, still run by the same family today. In an industry where companies rebrand to shed bad reputations, 40+ years under one name speaks for itself.
No charges for stairs, long carries, or heavy items. Enter your location and date for a free upfront quote - what you see is what you pay, backed by a recorded call if a promise was made.
Cancel or reschedule before your crew dispatches and pay nothing extra. Your $25 deposit is fully refundable with at least 24 hours notice. No penalties, no stress, no fine print.
Track your Austin crew from departure to arrival using live GPS on every truck. You always know exactly where your team is and when to expect them at your door.
Every truck in our 100+ fleet clears a structured 58-point inspection covering safety, equipment, lights, and documents. Any truck that fails is pulled from service until resolved.
Our Austin movers are licensed, insured, and background-checked. Request a COI at 3MenMovers.com/coi. Verify our USDOT 1914113 on the Texas DMV TruckStop.

Austin rates reflect the market and run higher than other Texas cities. On Tuesday and Wednesday a standard 3-man crew is $219 per hour, Monday and Thursday $229, and Friday through Sunday $249. On top of the hourly rate, every booking carries a flat $99 Travel Fee - $25 of that is due at booking and credited to your final bill. Stairs, long carries, and heavy items are never charged separately. What's on your quote is what you pay.
No surprises. Your total comes down to two numbers: a flat Travel Fee and an hourly rate for the crew. That's it. If you use packing materials, those are billed at the end based on what was actually used - never a flat upfront charge. And because every customer call is recorded, any price or commitment made over the phone is documented and will be honored.
Out of roughly 35,000 moves completed each year, about 2% result in a claim - that's the operational baseline. Before the crew touches a single item, they walk through your home with an iPad and photograph any pre-existing damage on a digital Inspection and Item Release form. That timestamped record exists before the truck is loaded. If you do need to file, use the online claim form as soon as possible - the Customer Experience team reaches out within 48 hours. Texas law sets a disclosure floor of $0.60 per pound per item, but that figure is a legal baseline, not a settlement formula. Each claim is reviewed on its own merits.
You won't be meeting strangers for the first time on move day. Before confirming your booking, you can review the assigned crew's bios, photos, performance ratings, and real customer reviews. Every mover is a background-checked professional. On the day itself, Crew Leaders wear Red 3 Men Movers shirts and Helpers wear Navy Blue, so there's no guessing who's running the job. Crew leaders recommended in the booking flow hold the Perfect Move Certified credential.
Standard cancellations cost nothing, as long as you cancel before the crew leaves for your job. The $25 deposit collected at booking is part of your Travel Fee and goes toward your final bill - it's fully refundable with at least 24 hours notice. Once the crew is en route, the Travel Fee applies as a No-Show charge. Same-day bookings work differently: the full Travel Fee is collected at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
Online booking is open anytime and quotes are good for 30 days. That said, Austin's rental market means end-of-month weekends book out fast - the earlier you lock in a date, the better your crew options. Same-day availability exists but isn't guaranteed, and the full Travel Fee is due at booking with no exceptions. If your building or HOA requires a Certificate of Insurance, request it at least 24-48 hours before your move date.
