There are a number of ways to ensure an efficient and affordable move to your next place. Our move coordinators typically tell people to start with a plan that includes:

• Decluttering and donating unused items before your move, reducing the amount of belongings that will need to be moved to your new home.

• If possible, start gathering packing materials early and pack as many non-essential items as possible in advance of your move date.

• For fragile items, items with sentimental value and/or high monetary values, buy the appropriate protective materials, pack, label and set them aside. On move day, communicate the set aside items to your moving company's crew so that there's extra emphasis on them.

• Make arrangements for pets and children on move day to create a stress-free moving experience for both them and yourself, as well as keeping the environment safe for everyone.

• If you're moving into or out of a downtown Dallas apartment or high-rise, don't forget to reserve the elevator in advance for your move date.

If you want to swap your crew after booking, just let us know! You can request a specific team by checking their availability on our dispatch calendar. We offer a no-risk booking policy with a $25 deposit. You can reschedule or change your crew free of charge up until the day before your move.

If your chosen crew becomes unavailable, we don't leave you hanging. We will proactively offer a replacement expert team to ensure your move remains a priority.

Logistics & HOA: You must reserve the freight elevator and verify HOA move-in windows with building management. For strict windows, we recommend booking our first morning slot (7-8 AM) to ensure we stay on track.
