All of our moves are billed hourly (on actual time worked). A three-mover crew is $199 an hour Tuesday and Wednesday, $209 Monday and Thursday, and $229 Friday through Sunday. A one-time trip fee starts at $99 and is based on the miles the truck actually drives. You can book the job online with a $25 deposit that holds the date and crew. Home size, packing, and tight access can add hours, and hours are what you pay for.
The hourly rate covers 3 movers, the 24 ft truck, blankets, floor runners, padded truck lining, stretch wrap, and a full toolbox. You won't pay extra for stairs, elevators, and long carries. Taking apart furniture that needs to come apart to get through doors is part of the clock too. Exceptions: bunk and loft beds come apart, but we don't put them back together, and pool tables and home gym equipment should be disassembled before movers arrive. If you order packing services, it adds hours at the same hourly rate.
It usually finishes in under one day. For example, a studio or 1 bedroom takes about 2 hours, a 2 or 3 bedroom house about 4 hours, and a 4 bedroom or larger about 7 hours. Some things might add to the time, though, like loose items, a long walk to the truck, elevator rules and wait times, or even big stairs.
Tuesday and Wednesday are the most affordable days, with $199 an hour for a three-mover crew. Friday through Sunday is $229, so you can save $30 an hour moving mid-week. Monday and Thursday are $209. Most customers book about two weeks ahead, so book beforehand if you're planning a weekend move. The trip fee still starts at $99 and depends on miles. We don't move on Thanksgiving or Christmas.

If you pack yourself, boxes must be closed before the crew arrives, because finishing them on move day runs on the clock.
3 Men Movers won't move items over 600 pounds (due to safety and equipment limits). This includes tall safes and motorized vehicles. Full grand pianos and hot tubs stay off the truck whatever they weigh. Upright pianos under 600 pounds are fine if they fit the stairwell safely, and baby grand pianos under 600 pounds will be moved first floor to first floor only, no stairs. We also don't take firearms, ammunition, and flammable liquids or chemicals since they are a liability risk. A TV comes off its mount and we rehang it only on an existing mount. New TV mounts are not part of the job. Prescriptions, jewelry, cash, and important documents will stay with you.

Clearfork mixes homes with offices and shops, and the main approach from Downtown is the Chisholm Trail Parkway, a toll road. Curb space is tight there, and building hours might limit the load and unload time. When you book, tell us the floor, gate code, and where the truck can park.
