Your total is the hourly rate plus a trip fee. A crew of three movers is $199 an hour Tuesday and Wednesday, $209 Monday and Thursday, and $229 Friday through Sunday. A trip fee starting at $99 is added on top. It's based on the miles from the Dallas facility and covers the crew's drive to you and back, gate wait included. The clock starts when the crew leader checks you in, and there is no tax on moving services. Hours depend on how much we move and your home's square footage, so larger homes, packing, and long driveways mean more hours at the same rate, and you pay for actual time worked. To keep the hours down, pack and organize before the crew arrives so they can load and go, or let us pack for you with our packing services. If time is tight, you can add a fourth mover or a second truck. In our online calculator, a studio or 1-bedroom (about 2 hours) comes out around $497 and a 4+ bedroom house (about 7 hours) around $1,643. Before the move, a $25 deposit holds the date and crew for you, and it comes off your bill.

Our hourly rate includes three movers, a 24 ft truck, blankets, floor runners, padded truck lining, stretch wrap, and a full toolbox. The trip fee is the one thing that isn't in the hourly rate, because it's charged once, on top. The minimum work time is 2 hours, and no hidden fees will be added for heavy items or stairs. The clock starts at check-in, and stops when you sign the crew out. If the truck has to stay on the street or the driveway is long, there is no extra charge for the long carry, but the time it takes is on the clock.

If something gets damaged, reply to any of our emails, texts or calls and we respond within 24 hours. Texas requires claims in writing, so we send you a simple online form to submit. We evaluate what's fair and repair damage we caused, with no depreciated valuations. Most claims close within 7 days, and there is no deadline to report damage. Lateness rarely happens. Every truck is GPS-monitored, so we can see where it is on moving day, and each crew's on-time score, the share of moves where the GPS shows the crew checked you in on time, is shown on this page. Crews with low scores get booked less, and you can follow your crew yourself with the tracking link. All crews are Perfect Move Certified, and their leaders are background-checked. Also, all our trucks pass a 15-point inspection every month. We also publish the negative reviews, not only the good ones.

Book as early as you can, 4 to 8 weeks ahead for summer and for the first and last weekends of the month, when school calendars and lease expirations fill the schedule. Our online booking form does not take more than a few minutes, so book as soon as you know the date. We hold the date and crew (picked by you) with a $25 deposit. If you'd like to save, a Tuesday or Wednesday is $199 an hour, against $229 Friday through Sunday. Same-day moves need a phone call. We don't move on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yes, take-apart and put-back are parts of the move. We disassemble the common pieces, like bed frames, tables and desks, and the time it takes counts toward your hourly total. Bunk and loft beds come apart, travel with us, and go back together. We move pool tables only if they're already taken apart, and we don't reassemble them. We also do the same for home gym equipment, with the same condition and no reassembly, and each piece needs to be under 600 lbs. When it comes to TVs, we take them off and set them back only on existing mounts. TVs travel best in their original box, and without it we'll ask you to sign a waiver. We don't do new installs. Yes, you can move it. Change your date for free with the "Modify Reservation" button in your Reservation Summary email. If you need to cancel, do it before your crew is on the way and your $25 deposit comes back in full.

Give us the gate code and your HOA's move window when you book. Then add our crew leader's name to your guest list, share the tracking link with the guard, and forward the COI (certificate of insurance) from your booking confirmation email if your HOA asks for it. You have the crew leader's name and photo before the day, so the guard knows who to expect. We also need to know if a 24 ft truck can come up the driveway or has to stay at the street, because that tells us how long the carry will be and how many hours to plan for. Vaquero is guard-gated. Glenwyck Farms is a private community, and Terra Bella is gated. Gate wait is part of the trip fee, not on the clock.

Yes, you can add a fourth mover or a second truck. The standard crew is three movers and a 24 ft truck, about 40% faster than a crew of two, and most movers only send two, so you pay for fewer hours. If your Westlake house is larger, it will take more hours at the same rate. A second truck brings another crew and avoids repeated trips to load and unload, so it can cost less. Yes. The trip fee covers the crew's drive to you and back, and that includes any wait at your gate, so gate time never runs on the clock. The clock starts when the crew leader checks you in.

Many HOAs and buildings ask for one, so check with yours. A certificate of insurance (COI) is the document that shows your HOA or property manager we're insured. We're the only moving company in Texas that provides a personalized COI automatically with every booking, made out for your building and naming your property manager as additional insured. It arrives in your booking confirmation email, and you forward it to your HOA or property manager.

You tell them, and we give you what you need. Add our crew leader's name to your community's guest list, using the name and photo we give you before moving day. On the day, share the tracking link we text you when the crew leaves our office, so the guard can see how far away the truck is.

Yes, in most cases. We move upright pianos under 600 lbs, including up or down stairs when the piano fits the stairwell safely, and some of our crews move baby grands under 600 lbs from first floor to first floor. Safes under 600 lbs move when they're completely empty, with no firearms or ammunition inside, and pool tables move once they're taken apart. Check the weight first: full grand pianos of any weight and anything over 600 lbs, tall safes included, stay off the truck.

Yes. In Westlake, the same crew that moves you can pack you, in full or room by room, and unpack at your new home. Our crews are trained and do this for a living. They will be able to determine the best place for your items, as well as put things in high cabinets. This makes a huge difference in getting you back to your normal life without wasting time unpacking. Packing is billed at the same hourly rate as the move, and you schedule it like the move, the day before or up to 3 days before.
